A month-long National Space Day celebration in NATMO has culminated on 23rd August 2024 with two lectures on relevant topics from eminent speakers.

In the absence of Dr. Binod Kumar Singh, Director, NATMO, Dr. Sraboni Bhattacharya (Pakrasi), Deputy Director, felicitated the speakers, Dr. L. N. Satpati (Professor and Director, UGC-MMTTC, University of Calcutta) and Shri. Santanu Chakraborty (Senior VP (Sales), NeoGeoInfo Technologies).

Smt. Debjani Goswami read out the message of  Dr. Binod Kumar Singh, Director, NATMO for the invited speakers and audience.

The first speaker, Dr. L. N. Satpati delivered an informative speech on “Geospatial Mapping-Connecting space and people in India during the Amrit Kaal (2022-2047)” highlighting the importance, challenges, benefits and applications of geospatial mapping in India.

The next speaker, Shri. Santanu Chakraborty gave an insightful presentation on the topic “Application of HRSI in various domains” elaborating on the different categories of HRSI and its applications.

Md. Amjad Khan, Deputy Director and Head of Office delivered the vote of thanks for the gathering.
